So what exactly is a bridal trunk show?
A trunk show is a chance for our designers to introduce newer collections that have recently been released. It is an opportunity for brides to try on the gowns they may have seen advertised on the designer’s website or on the runway. It’s a preview of what’s to come and a chance for a bride to be the first to try on the new collection!
Why is it beneficial to make an appointment during a trunk show?
At a trunk show, designers send us most, if not all, of their current line of gowns. After the trunk show, we carry only a select few of the gowns that were in our store. If a bride is interested in a designer or a specific gown, it is a great idea for her to come try on the dresses, as they might not be available in the store after the show is over.
Is there a discount?
Yes, there is! This varies by designer, but there are usually discounts offered if you purchase during the trunk show.
Why are sizes so small?
These gowns are coming to our store directly from the fashion runway, so most of the time they are fit to the models who wear them initially. The gowns are available to try on and to see in person, but will be ordered in the correct size, should you fall in love with one.
As always, we are here for any questions! Don’t hesitate to call us or send us an email.
